EDYI Observation Day Tomorrow – DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED!
Hello families!
Tomorrow is observation day for EDYI 1, 2, 4 & 5! Dancers will have classes at their regularly scheduled times and parents may come to observe from these times:
- Monday April 8th: Observation for EDYI 1 & 2 5:30-6:00
- Monday April 8th: Observation for EDYI 4 & 5 6:00-6:30

Upcoming Friday Rehearsals
With the recital and competition right around the corner, we are slightly altering our Friday rehearsal schedule:
4:00-5:00 – EDYI 4 & 5 Modern
5:00-6:15 – Smile (EDYI 2-5)
6:15-7:30 – Glimpse of Light (EDYI 2-5)
**EDYI 1 will only need to attend 5/3 before recital!
Mandatory Informational Parent Meeting
We will be holding an informational parent meeting to review information about our upcoming May competition and Nationals. There will be two options for parents to attend a meeting:
Sunday April 28th – 3:00 pm at Holbrook St
Wednesday May 1st: 6:15 pm at Kennedy Middle School (directly after drop off for dress rehearsal EDYI dress rehearsal)

- April 15-19 – April Vacation
- May 1 – EDYI Tech rehearsal 6-9 @ Kennedy Middle School
- May 4 – Spring Recital (shows at 11:00 & 2:30)
- May 10-12 – Dance Ovations Hingham
- May 29 – EDYI Auditions (Level 1-2 4:00-5:30, Level 3-5 5:30-7:00)
- June 10, 11, 12 – EDYI Meetings and Apparel Fittings
- June 15 – Community Day (Community Day dress Rehearsal 6/14)
- Weekend in June TBD – EDYI Showcase / Banquet
- June 26-30 – Dance Ovations Nationals, Hyannis MA
- July 9th- August 6th – Technique Tuesdays
- August 12th-16th – Summer Camp
- Technique Tuesdays & Summer Camp are required for dancers to be considered for a Nutcracker lead!
