Extravaganza Week’s Schedule

Dear Parents,

AS A REMINDER, ALL LEVELS ARE PERFORMING IN THE EXTRAVAGANZA. Ticket sales are currently extremely low. Ticket sales help fund the master teacher and rental of the Orpheum Theater. This is a very special educational opportunity for the students and we hope people will support the dancers by coming to see this amazing show! Tickets can be purchased by using this link!

Flower Sales: We are currently taking pre-orders for flowers. Pre-sale flowers will be $17 and day of purchases will be $20. Please venmo us @edcfundraising to reserve your flowers and write Extravaganza Flowers – your dancers name in the memo. This is another great way for people to support their growing dancer! 

We would like to hold an extra production rehearsal for the our EDYI 2-5 students. We will be slightly altering the schedule on Wednesday to this:

EDYI 1 @ Holbrook Street: 3:45-6:00pm (regular schedule)
EDYI 2 @ Holbrook Street: 3:45-6:30
EDYI 3 @ Holbrook Street: 4:00-6:30
EDYI 4/5 @ Holbrook Street: 5:30-9:00

Costumes: Are going home on Wednesday with your child. They are all hung on hangers with a clear plastic bag covering them to keep them safe. Please arrive with the costumes in the bag on the hangers. Please do not stuff them in another bag, as countless hours were spent steaming and preparing them to be show ready! (We will have show tights for them at the venue to change into before the performance.) 

Reminder of Friday Schedule:
EDYI 1/2 @ Holbrook Street: Master class 4pm-6pm
EDYI 3-5 @ Holbrook Street: Master class 5:30-7:30pm
***Dancers must come to the master class looking professional, dressed in:

• team leotard
• team jacket
• clean, unripped pink tights – We have tights at the studio and you can email Andrea @ office@exhaledance.com to order a new pair if you need them. They are $12. 
• team shorts
• clean shoes, bring all shoes! – Shoes can be cleaned easily with a Mr. Clean Sponge. (I do it all the time ;).).
• hair in a clean, slicked back performance bun

Reminder for Saturday: 

• Dancers arrive at the Orpheum Theatre at 4:30pm for dress rehearsal wearing:
  • team leotard
  • team jacket
  • any tights
  • their team shorts
  • in performance make up
  • hair in a slicked back performance bun. 
  • Make sure they bring ALL dance shoes and any make-up they need to touch up with. 
  • We will have show tights for them at the venue to change into before the performance.
  • They should also come with all of their costumes in the bag on the hangers. Please do not stuff them in another bag, as countless hours were spent steaming and preparing them to be show ready! 
  • Dancers should come with something healthy to eat for dinner, some snacks and plenty of water. We will not be supplying snacks or dinner.  
• Doors open for the show at 6:30 pm. Flower sales, chances to donate to EDYI, concessions and beer/wine will be sold before the event in the lobby! Show begins at 7:00pm:)
• The show will finish with an awards ceremony and Q&A with Christina!
• Tickets are $20, plus additional fees that may be added by the box office.

Christina Belinsky will be adjudicating the showcase and will be providing live feedback to the dancers on their routines! She will also be selecting 3 soloists to perform in our spring recital, and 1 duo. These performers will be announced after the show during the awards ceremony.
