IMPORTANT DATES FOR MAY/JUNE
Friday May 29th: Recital run through @ studio 4:00-6:30 (No solos/small groups)
Sunday May 31st : Recital held at Walpole Middle School (EDYI performs production dances in all 3 shows! **ALL SOLOS AND GROUP ROUTINES will only perform in the EDYI showcase!)
Wednesday June 3rd: Team auditions for all levels! Held during class time **Red team dismissed at 8!
Friday June 5th: No classes
Saturday June 6th: Last day of regular classes for the season!
Saturday June 13th: Norfolk Community Day Performance (Performance run through Fri 6/12)
Friday June 19th: Green/Purple ballet showcase after class at 5:15! Nationals info meeting for parents at 5:30
Friday June 26th – EDYI BANQUET (after rehearsal, more details to come)
June 28th-July 1st: Dance Ovations Nationals at Mashpee High School! (Exact schedule will be announced closer to the date)
RECITAL REMINDERS
Here are some important reminders for recital weekend NEXT WEEK!!
SATURDAY MAY 30TH: **Dancers who assist rec classes attend dress rehearsal !
SUNDAY MAY 31ST: Recital Day!
10:00 – Dancers arrive with hair and makeup done wearing nude leotard, tan footed tights, team shorts and team jacket!! *Bring all costumes, tights and shoes!!
11:00 – Show 1
1:30 – Show 2
4:30 – EDYI Showcase
Dancers will not have time to leave the venue between shows!! We are accepting donations to provide snacks for the dancers throughout the day!!

EDYI AUDITIONS WED 6/3
EDYI auditions are on Wednesday 6/3! Dancers should wear their regular class attire, wear hair in a neat bun and bring all shoes!
GREEN/PURPLE TEAM: 4:00-6:00
RED TEAM: 6:00-8:00
HIP HOP MASTER CLASS 6/4
We are very excited to invite a very special guest to the studio on June 4th!! All EDYI is invited to take this class! Here is the schedule of the evening:
5:45-6:00 – Britney Rehearsal
6:00-7:30 – Hip hop master class with guest teacher! **ALL EDYI INVITED!
BALLET SHOWINGS/NATIONALS MEETING
On Friday June 19th, parents are invited to come and watch green and purple team’s ballet showcase at the end of class, from 5:15-5:30!
At 5:30 on June 19th, we will have a brief informational parents meeting to go over all Nationals info and answer any questions. We can’t wait for this special event!!

Sunday, June 28th: Title Contestant’s Interviews and Classes / “Opening Number” Rehearsal for title contestants
Monday, June 29th: NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP begins! All 2026 Title Contestant’s Performances ~ “Opening Number” Rehearsal ~ “MASTER CLASSES”
Tuesday, June 30th: NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP continues… ~ “Opening Number” Rehearsal ~ “DISCO PARTY”
Wednesday, July 1st: NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP continues… “Opening Number” Rehearsal ~ “DANCE ON” ~ “GALA – NATIONAL AWARDS PRESENTATION”

Starting the week of June 8th, we will be modifying the weekly EDYI schedule to prepare for Nationals! Here is the schedule we will be following:
