“SAVE THE DATE”: EDYI YEAR END BANQUET
Dear Parents and Dancers,
Please mark your Calendars. The Annual EDYI Year End Banquet will be held on Saturday, June 7th. A special “Thank You” to Gena and Shane Lungwitz for offering their house to host the Event. More details will be posted in the future.
RECITAL SEASON OUTLOOK
Please take note of the following important dates for our 2025 Recital Season:
- Tuesday, April 29th: Ticket Sales begin at 7:00 pm. A Link to purchase tickets will posted in next week’s Update.
- Saturday May 3rd: EDYI Picture Day / 4:30-6:00 PM
- Friday May 30th: Tech Rehearsal / King Phillip HS / 4:00-7:00 PM PLEASE NOTE: Assistant Teachers ONLY will be required to attend this Rehearsal.
- Saturday, May 31st: Recital and EDYI Team Showcase / King Phillip HS / EDYI Team Arrival is scheduled for 11:15 AM / Recital Showtime is 1:00 PM / Showcase Showtime is 4:00 PM.
LAST CALL FOR “DANCING DADS”!
Registration remains Open for Exhale’s First Annual “Dads’ Dance” to be performed in the Recital. Rehearsals begin on Thursday, May 1st. Click HERE to register!
2025 COMPETITION DATES
All EDYI Dancers will be participating in the following Competition Events this Season:
- Dance Ovations / Hingham MA / May 16th – 18th
- Dance Ovations Nationals / Hyannis / June 24th – 29th
IMPORTANT DATES FOR APRIL/MAY
- April 29th: Recital and Showcase Ticket Sales begin at 7:00 pm. A Link to purchase tickets will be posted in next week’s update.
- May 3rd: EDYI Picture Day / 4:30-6:00pm
- May 4th: International Dance Day / Walpole / 2:00-4:00 pm. Please Note: The Purple Team Jazz, and EDYI Modern will be the only Pieces performed at this Event. Further details will be posted separately.
- May 16th-18th: Dance Ovations Regional / Hingham, MA. Schedule for this Event will be provided as soon as it is received in the Office.
- May 26th: Memorial Day / Exhale is Closed!
- May 30th: Tech Rehearsal / King Phillip HS / 4:00-7:00 PM PLEASE NOTE: Assistant Teachers ONLY will be required to attend this Rehearsal.
- May 31st: Recital and EDYI Team Showcase / King Phillip HS / EDYI Team Arrival is scheduled for 11:15 AM / Recital Showtime is 1:00 PM / Showcase Showtime is 4:00 PM.
