EXTRAVAGANZA WEEK: DAY BY BAY

Dear Parents and Dancers,

It’s hard to believe, but we are just days away from our 2025 Extravaganza! Offering a quick reference guide to take you through the week. We are very excited for you to see all of the performances on the “Big Stage”!

• Monday, March 24th: Reminder…EDYI Parent Meeting / 5:45-6:15
• Wednesday, March 26th: All Costumes for the Extravaganza will be sent home with Dancers
• Thursday, March 27th: EDYI Acro and Hip Hop WILL be held as scheduled

Friday, March 28th: Extravaganza Day 1 Mandatory Workshop Classes

• 4:00 – 6:30 pm: Dancers’ Workshop Classes with Sandi Duncan.
• 6:30 – 7:30pm: Parents’ Workshop Class with Sandi Duncan. (Dancers will rehearse in Studio A, while parents attend their Master Class in Studio B). Reminder to all parents to bring a yoga mat or equivalent to Class.

Saturday, March 29th: Extravaganza Day 2 Performance at the Kennedy Middle School

• PLEASE NOTE: EDYI Pointe will NOT be held on this day.
• 3:45 pm: Dancers arrive at Kennedy Middle School
• 6:30pm: SHOWTIME! (Doors to Auditorium will open at 6:00 pm)

RECITAL SEASON OUTLOOK

Please take note of the following important dates for our 2025 Recital Season:

• Saturday May 3rd: EDYI Picture Day / 4:30-6:00 PM
• Friday May 30th: Tech Rehearsal / King Phillip HS / 4:00-7:00 PM PLEASE NOTE: Assistant Teachers ONLY will be required to attend this Rehearsal.
• Saturday, May 31st: Recital and EDYI Team Showcase / King Phillip HS / EDYI Team Arrival is scheduled for 11:15 AM / Recital Showtime is 1:00 PM / Showcase Showtime is 4:00 PM.

“DADS’ DANCE” REGISTRATION REMAINS OPEN!

Registration remains Open for Exhale’s First Annual “Dads’ Dance” to be performed in the Recital. Click HERE to register!

2025 COMPETITION DATES

All EDYI Dancers will be participating in the following Competition Events this Season:

• Dance Ovations / Hingham MA / May 16th – 18th
• Dance Ovations Nationals / Hyannis / June 24th – 29th

Optional Competition Dates, for those who chosen to attend, are:

• Dance Ovations / Natick, MA (Kennedy Middle School) / April 5th-6th
• Accelerate Dance Experience / Braintree MA (Thayer Academy) / April 12th-13th
