Schedule For The Week

Meetings and Apparel Fittings

Reminder that all dancers returning to EDYI must sign up for a meeting and apparel fitting for next season! We have changed the dates of our meetings so they do not conflict with classes! They will now take place on Tuesday June 11th and Thursday July 13th!

Please select a time slot that works for you! If none of the available slots work for you, please email Miss Melissa to set up a separate time:)

Costumes For Nationals

We are going to have you keep all your costumes for Nationals. It will be your job to prepare the costumes and ensure they are performance ready. We will send out a blog on how to care for the costumes ASAP.

If you dancer is participating in Nationals and you already returned your costumes please make sure you grab them before the end of this week.

If your dancer is not participating in Nationals please make sure to return all your costumes (except solo and small group costumes… those are yours to keep!) before the end of this week, if you have not done so already.

EDYI Banquet 6/8

The EDYI Banquet will be held on Saturday June 8th at 5:00 pm at the Galvin’s House! (10 Garnet Dr, Franklin MA) There is no rain date! The banquet will be held rain or shine!☀️

We still are looking for some slots to be filled for food for the banquet! If you have not signed up yet for a slot, please make sure to take a look at the form!

Community Day

Community Day is coming up on Saturday June 15th and we are excited to be invited back to perform! Here is some important information about the day:

• We will have a mandatory rehearsal for Community Day on Friday June 14th for all EDYI levels from 5:00-6:30!
• Saturday June 15th: Arrival at Holmes Bus Complex no later than 11:45 with their hair in a slicked back performance bun. They should wear their leotard, sparkly skirt (given out at rehearsal the night before), tan tights and jazz shoes.
• Dancers should not bring their huge dance bags! Only bring what is absolutely necessary for the performance that day, as there isn’t anywhere to put extra belongs.
• Performance from 12:15-1:00. Sparkly skirts MUST be returned before you leave!

• June 26-30 – Dance Ovations Nationals, Hyannis MA
• July 9th- August 6th – Technique Tuesdays 
• August 12th-16th – Summer Camp
• Technique Tuesdays & Summer Camp are required for dancers to be considered for a Nutcracker lead!
