Competition Pricing

Hello Families:

I just received confirmation of the pricing for competitions this season and wanted to share numbers with you, as it may help you decide whether to join our pasta fundraiser. Competitions are a great way for the girls to grow, build their skills and make important connections in the dance world. 🙂 Please remember these are the costs of the competitions and I have no control over them.

Solo:  $295 per competition (includes two 1 hour private lessons before each competition)

Duet/Trio/Small Group:  $100 per student, per competition (includes two 1 hour privates lessons)

Here at Exhale, we try to instill the importance of team. Group dancers are the priority, therefore, students should not plan to compete their solo or duet/small group if they do not wish to register to compete in the group dances and production pieces. (Due to staffing and studio availability, all solos/duets/small groups are registered in the Spring and choreographed in the Summer)

Groups:  $70 per person, per group, per competition (Rehearsals are in class and included in our annual tuition).

Here are the group pieces we would take to competitions:

EDC I-III: Tap Group Dance, Jazz Group Dance and 2 production pieces
Total cost for each competition would be $280. Students can choose to participate in 3 competitions this year… two regionals and one nationals. Therefore, the total cost of competitions for the year would be $840

EDC IV & V: Tap Group Dance, Jazz Group Dance, Modern Group Dance and 2 production pieces.
Total cost for each competition would be $350, and the total cost for all 3 competitions would be $1050.

3 Payment Options

1. Paid over 7 months – September-March (Please reach out to Kristin Cobb no later than September 14th: registration@exhaledance.com)
2. Paid in full 2 months prior to each competition – January 1st (March competition), March 1st (May competition), and May 1st (Nationals in June)
3. Fundraise – join the pasta fundraiser and raise as much individual funds as you wish to pay for the competitions. Once the fundraiser closes we will reach out to each individual family to discuss the remaining balance.
