EDYI Summer Camp August 14^th-18^th from 9:00-3:00 pm

We are so excited for our summer intensive starting tomorrow! Below is a reminder of the location for each level. Every level will be together at The Grange on Friday!

–What to bring: All dance shoes (bring old ones if new ones haven’t arrived), a lunch, some snacks, lot’s of water!

-What to wear: Dancers should wear a leotard and tights and bring both their shorts and skirts to change into for ballet. Hair must be in a bun!

New Season Attire

From Miss Shannen: There has been some confusion about what the girls need to get so I wanted to give a breakdown of what you will be getting from us and what you need to get from Dancer’s Drawer.

From Exhale:

• Team leotard (these are on the way and will be in for camp)
• 1 pair of pink tights
• Shorts
• Skirt

Everyone needs to get:

• Jazz shoes (I know there was confusion about this but ALL EDYI members needs jazz shoes)
• Canvas Ballet Shoes
• Tap shoes (tan for EDYI 1-3, black for EDYI 4-5)
• EDYI 4/5 ONLY need black footless tights for Modern

Optional to get:

• Extra leotards in the color family of your child’s level (These do not need to be printed with the logo)
  • EDYI 1: Black Cherry
  • EDYI 2: Navy
  • EDYI 3: Dark Green
  • EDYI 4: Dark Pink
  • EDYI 5: Eggplant/Purple
• Extra tights

I will have a bag with everything I have for your child waiting for them at whichever location they are at for camp on Monday. This bag will include anything that has come in from Dancer’s Drawer. Most, if not all, of the backorders from there should be here in time for camp, however, your child should come prepared in case their new shoes are not in.

Camp Show/Meeting Monday

On Friday, parents are welcome to come to our Camp Showing at 2:00 at The Grange! We will showcase choreography that was learned throughout the week! Directly after the showcase, we will have our mandatory welcome back meeting for all dancers and parents. We have some exciting information and surprise announcements regarding this season that you do not want to miss!
