Nutcracker Casting🎄

Hello families! We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who chose to sign up for a lead role in the Nutcracker this year! We very much appreciate each dancer’s interest and willingness to take on the level of commitment in which a lead role entails. At this time, our show is fully cast! Unfortunately, due to a large number of interest and a certain amount of lead roles, we were unable to give a lead role to every dancer who signed up. The casting process was not an easy one! There were many factors that went into selecting leads, the main one being strong attendance and dedication during summer classes. I want to emphasize that dancers who did not receive a lead role this year will still have a HUGE and important part throughout the show! All EDYI levels will perform in multiple numbers throughout both shows! 

Phone calls will be going out to each individual who signed up for a lead role on Monday night at 6:00 pm. The official cast list will be posted on Wednesday at noon. We are so excited for our holiday show and truly feel that it will be our strongest one yet! We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
