Important Competition Reminders
Our first competition is only a week and a half away! Here is all of the important information regarding the event:
- Dance Ovations Competition will take place on Sunday March 10th (**THIS IS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!!) at Monty Tech School (1050 Westminster St. Fitchburg MA)
- Doors to the venue open at 8:45! We hope that every dancer is able to stay for the entire event and support their teammates!
- Dancers will be taking their group dance costumes home on Wednesday 3/6. Performance tights will be included in the garment bag.
- ALL JAZZ SHOES should be brought to he event! If shoes are dirty they should be cleaned with a magic eraser, and should have absolutely NO HOLES!

Competition Schedule
Below is the schedule for the competition. Over the years Dance Ovations has had the reputation of running an hour or two ahead of schedule! However, we have to make sure we are there early so we don’t miss our performance entry # slot. They can be flexible, but professionalism and understanding how these competitions run are very important. :). Most of the performers are there the entire day. They thoughtfully try to rush ahead to get us all home at a decent hour . Here at Exhale, we emphasize the importance of being part of a team. This competition is very short and We are hoping that people will make the choice to be at the venue for the whole day and support their team members!😊

Informational Parent Meeting Next Week
We will be holding an informational parent meeting on Wednesday 3/6 from 5:45-6:15 for ALL levels! It is very important that at least one parent of each dancer attends this meeting, as we will be sending costumes home!
Friday Rehearsals 3/1 & 3/8
For the next two Fridays, EDYI levels 2-5 will have production rehearsal from 5-7:30. We will be spending lots of time preparing our production routines and preparing them for the competition! There will be NO solo/small group run through on those days.
Please reach out to Miss Melissa is you have any questions! We are so excited for this event!🤩
